Olin Family Society

I received an email this week from John-John-John-Ezra-MaryAnn-Ezra-Mary-Grace-Edith-Nancy (BENNETT) RAWLINGS. She plans on heading north from her home near Nashville, TN on a journey to explore her ancestry. She was seeking advice on where to focus her OLIN Family search. She already had plans to go to East Greenwich, Rhode Island. I recommended she consider visiting Shaftsbury and Bennington, Vermont - they are OLIN hubs for many branches, including hers. I found that the best advice I could give was for Nancy to visit Ruth ELLIS's website. I think it is by far the best resource for early John & Susannah (SPENCER) OLIN history. Nancy also wrote, "By the way, Ed and I visited the Midway in San Diego last fall and saw the Ernst family photo, including cousin Bobbie, in the captain’s quarter. She has a beautiful family." I'm trying to get the two ladies together. Maybe they can help me in my goal to revive the Ezra OLIN Tribe interaction.
